FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the venue rental fee?

The venue rental fee for Eagle Ridge is $3500.  Catering, bar, taxes, and gratuities are additional.

What is the deposit due for this venue?

The deposit due would be the venue rental to secure the date plus ⅓ of the proposal to secure Shore Catering on our calendar.

What is provided with the venue rental?

On-site there are (350) champagne Chiavari chairs, (25) 60” round tables, (8) 72” round tables, 6’ & 8’ rectangular tables, high top cocktail tables, and a private patio overlooking the fairways.

Where do my guests park?

The venue has a large parking lot with ADA compliant access.

Can I have an outdoor cermony?

Outdoor ceremonies take place on the patio with guests seated facing the fairways. An outdoor Ceremony is $750 including set-up and breakdown.

Can I have an indoor ceremony?

Yes, an indoor ceremony would consist of the dance floor being used as an aisle, a row of chairs for immediate family, and all other guests would be seated at their tables. The charge for an indoor ceremony would be an additional hour for on-site staff.

What time can my event go until?

All events must end no later than 11:00 pm. Vendors and guests must be off-premise no later than 11:30 pm.

How early do I have access to decorate?

The building will be unlocked 2 hours prior to your event start time, and 3 hours for wedding reception packages. Any additional time would be $35/hr (plus travel) per staff members as needed.  If tables/chairs are needed to be set up for decorating staff would be required to come early and additional charges would be assessed.

What is the alcohol policy?

All bar contracts are to go through Goldstar Caterers 732-901-4905 / rikki@goldstarcaterers.com.  They offer a full-service open bar, beer & wine open bar, tab bar, and custom packages. A security fee will be added to each bar contract. BYOB is not permitted.

Who handles rentals?

All rentals must go through Shore Catering, this includes the venue rental and 3rd party rental companies for all your furniture/equipment needs.  Let us know what you are envisioning and we will provide you a quote.

Do I have access to the golf course for my event?

The golf course and/or golf carts are not included in your rental. Pictures and first looks are permitted on certain areas of the course.  Any heeled shoe is not permitted on the greens.

How early and/or late do my vendors have access?

Your vendors may come in two hours prior to your event start time, 3 hours for weddings, and need to be vacated within 30 minutes of your event end time.  If you need additional time it would have to be discussed prior to the event and would be an additional $35/hr.

Can I rent the venue and not have catering and/or staff?

The ballroom can only be rented with one of our catering packages and on-site staff. We are responsible for unlocking, setting up, and locking the building.

Are there certain days I can book an event?

 The ballroom can only be rented for a non-kosher event on Friday or Saturday

Can I bring in outside food?

You are allowed to bring in outside desserts, cake, or non-alcoholic beverages. Other items are on a case-by-case basis, let us know the item you wish to bring.

Are there any high chairs on site?

Unfortunately, there are no highchairs on site.

What is a room setup fee?

An additional $2 per person charge for the time and labor to set-up and break down tables and chairs.

Can I see the venue anytime?

 Venue tours are by appointment only. On your first tour, we suggest taking many photos/videos to refer back to. All additional venue walk-throughs are subject to travel/time charges.

What is a Maitre D fee?

It is a service charge for the front & back of house manager, who oversees the timeline, event details, staff, food, service, and an exceptional guest experience. They also ensure all township rules & regulations are being followed.  This person is mandatory for any Eagle Ridge event.

Are there any TV or projection screens at the venue?

No, there is no audio/video equipment at the venue.  All equipment must be supplied and operated by you.

What decor is prohibited?

Glitter, confetti, sparklers, and bubbles.  Items are not allowed to be pinned or taped to the walls. All decor must be setup and removed by client after the event.

Can I have flame candles?

Yes, but all flames need to be in a glass holder to prevent both dripping wax and a fire hazard. Candlesticks are not permitted.  If linens are damaged by wax, the client would be held responsible for damages.

Do I have access to the bridal suite?

Any wedding packages have access to the bridal suite.  If you choose to get ready on site (hair and make-up) the earliest access would be when the golf shop opens (opening time depends on the time of year).  Please bring any items you would need to be self-sufficient, such as snacks, beverages, cups, plates, ice, etc. Our staff does not arrive until 2-3 hours prior to your start time.
