Graduation 2017 is just around the corner. Before you know it, our middle, high school, and college graduates will be donning their caps and gowns. Celebrate your 2017 graduate by throwing a fantastic graduation bash in his or her honor complete with a fun theme.
- Oh, The Places You’ll Go!- You’re never too old to take inspiration for Dr. Seuss! The classic children’s book is full of inspirational messages for your graduate including “Kid, you’ll move mountains!” and “Today is your day! You’re off and away!” Decoration ideas for this theme are easy to find across the internet but we think these are especially fun and neat.
- Luau or Pig Roast- Graduation is often the first of many summertime celebrations. Embrace the warm weather with a Hawaiian luau or go “all out” with a pig roast. Your guests will love “pigging out” in honor of your grad! Complete the “pig roast” theme with a watermelon pig fruit bowl.
- High School/College Colors– Dress up your space with balloons and other decorations in your school colors. You can even give out “Ring Pops” as “class ring” goodies for your guests. Check out these other great DIY ideas.
- Mexican Fiesta– Get festive by hosting a fiesta for your graduate! Give your guests something to taco ‘bout with a taco bar, complete with salsa, chips, and guacamole. As far as we know, piñatas have no age limit.
- Classic Clambake- There is nothing quite like a clambake at the Jersey Shore. If your graduate loves the beach, complete the theme with nautical decorations. Christopher Columbus himself said “You can never cross the ocean until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.” Let your dreams set sail, grads!
